Geo Quiz: Guess the Flag
Effective and last updated:
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Lunexa Labs operates Geo Quiz: Guess the Flag, also previously known as Geo Master Quest / Geo Genius. This policy covers the Android and Apple versions of the game and these support pages. Contact admin@lunexalabs.com for privacy questions or requests.
Data handling depends on your app version, device, region, permissions and choices. The optional usage analytics control described below is available from version 2.3.2. Earlier versions may collect usage analytics without that in-app switch; update to access the new controls.
2. Information we process
- Player and game data: an automatically generated Firebase player ID, game name and avatar, scores, completed games, daily challenge history, progress, achievements, virtual coin balances and purchase entitlements. Some information stays on your device; online game features also store player records in Firebase.
- Device and service data: app version, operating system, device information, installation or device identifiers, language, time zone, IP address and security/attestation signals. Service providers process these to operate the game, configure services and protect against abuse. An IP address can indicate an approximate location.
- Optional usage measurement: app opens, sessions, selected modes, game starts and completions, purchases and ad interactions or impression revenue. Where enabled, these events use app-instance and player identifiers to understand engagement, retention and the performance of advertising campaigns.
- Crash diagnostics: crash traces, errors, app/device details and identifiers, including the generated player ID where available. Firebase Crashlytics collects release-app diagnostics to help us fix failures; this is separate from the optional usage analytics switch.
- Advertising: ad requests, impressions, interactions, estimated impression revenue, device/advertising identifiers where permitted, IP-derived approximate location and privacy choices. The information available to each partner depends on the SDK, ad served, region and consent.
- Purchases: product and transaction identifiers, receipt or purchase-token verification data, purchase time, value/currency where available, delivery, refund and entitlement status, associated with a player ID. Apple or Google processes payment details; we do not receive your full payment-card details. Verification proof is processed by our backend and the relevant store; the purchase ledger stores verified purchase records to deliver purchases and prevent duplicate claims.
- Notifications and support: push tokens, device identifiers, notification preferences and scheduling information; and the email address, message and attachments you choose to send when contacting us.
An automatically generated player ID is pseudonymous, not a guarantee that data is anonymous. The game does not require you to register with an email address to play.
3. Why we use information
We use information to run game features, save progress, deliver and restore eligible purchases, handle refunds, send enabled reminders, provide support, diagnose crashes and prevent fraud or service abuse. With the relevant choices and permissions, we also measure gameplay, ad revenue and acquisition performance and serve advertising.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for optional analytics and consent-based advertising; performance of the service or purchase agreement for requested features; legitimate interests, where applicable, for reliability, security and support; and legal obligations for required records. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. Your analytics, advertising and notification choices
- Usage analytics: in version 2.3.2 and later, usage analytics is off by default. You can choose it during initial setup and change it in the game's Settings. Turning it off stops future optional Analytics collection and resets the local Analytics identifier/data. It does not automatically erase historical server records or turn off essential online services or crash diagnostics.
- Ad privacy: respond to the advertising privacy message when shown. The game's Settings displays a privacy-options entry when required by the consent service, allowing you to revisit applicable choices. Rejecting personalization does not necessarily remove ads or all data processing: limited or contextual ads and fraud prevention may still apply where permitted.
- Device controls: use your device's advertising privacy controls. On iOS, the system tracking permission controls tracking that requires Apple's authorization. The usage analytics choice is separate from advertising consent and system tracking permission.
- Notifications: change reminders in the game and notification permission in device settings. You may play without notification permission.
In version 2.3.2 and later, the app disables Analytics advertising storage, advertising user-data consent and advertising personalization signals. The separate ad SDKs still follow their applicable consent and privacy signals. Ad measurement is not a reason to ignore your privacy choices.
5. Service providers and sharing
We use Google/Firebase for authentication, databases, backend functions, App Check, configuration, messaging, Analytics and Crashlytics. We use Google AdMob and integrated mediation partners to serve ads. Depending on availability and configuration, these include AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, Liftoff Monetize and InMobi. Apple and Google provide store billing, transaction validation and platform attribution services.
Providers receive the information needed for their services. Advertising providers may also act as independent controllers under their own policies. Advertising disclosures can qualify as “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under some regional laws; use the applicable ad privacy choices and contact us to exercise your rights. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights/security, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
Read the relevant provider information:
- Google privacy policy, Firebase privacy and security and how Google uses information from partner apps.
- AppLovin privacy policy.
- Unity privacy policy (including Unity Ads and ironSource services).
- Liftoff privacy policy and InMobi privacy policy.
- Apple privacy policy.
6. Retention, security and international processing
Local progress and preferences remain until changed, reset or removed with app/device storage. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete cloud player records. We retain cloud player/progress records while needed to provide the service or until an applicable deletion request is fulfilled. Verified purchase, refund and anti-fraud records may be retained longer where necessary for transaction integrity, disputes or legal obligations.
Analytics, diagnostics, messaging and advertising data also follow the provider's retention settings and policies. For example, Firebase describes Crashlytics diagnostic retention as 90 days before removal begins. Backup copies and records retained for legal or security purposes may take longer to remove.
We use encrypted network connections and access controls. No system is completely secure. Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, international transfers are subject to applicable contractual or other recognized safeguards.
7. Access, deletion and other privacy requests
Email admin@lunexalabs.com with the subject “Geo Quiz privacy request” to request access, correction or deletion of your player data, or to object to or restrict processing where applicable. If requesting deletion, say “Delete my Geo Quiz player data” and include your platform and game name or player ID if available. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or raw purchase tokens. We may ask for proportionate information to locate the record and verify that it belongs to you.
Deleting player data can remove progress and affect access to associated items. We will explain any records that must be retained and the reason. A deletion request does not itself refund a store purchase. Requests about data held independently by an ad partner or app store may also need to be directed to that provider.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to data portability, withdrawal of consent, non-discrimination for exercising rights, an appeal of a privacy decision, and a complaint to your local data-protection authority. We handle requests within the applicable legal time limits.
8. Children
Geo Quiz is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact admin@lunexalabs.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action. A parent or guardian should supervise use and purchases by minors and review the store age rating and device parental controls.
9. These pages and policy updates
Our hosting provider processes standard technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect these web pages. Following a store or provider link takes you to that service and its own privacy practices.
We will post changes here with an updated date and provide additional notice or request consent when required. This Geo Quiz policy takes precedence over the website's general privacy notice for this game.
